British Wildlife Centre

Hi all, Happy New Year,

Well for my first photo trip of 2008, I visited the British Wildlife Centre in Surrey, The centre is only about 10mins from the M25 and about an hours drive for me, so even though the weather did not look that great I decided to visit the centre and see what it is like.

The centre has a range of british wildlife including red squirrels and Foxes which are quite tame and all of the enclosures are designed to look like the animals natural enviroment so you can get photos that look wild instead of the normal zoo shots.

Below is a number of my photos taken today, I certainly plan to return once the weather gets warmer and more of the animals are active.

  1. Very nice photos.

  2. Those red squirrels are just gorgeous, Pete. I see lots of greys when I visit in-laws in Birmingham but these little reds definitely have the edge when it comes to cuteness *grin*

  3. This is a place I have to visit in the summer. Great photos Pete.
