Chessington and Greeting Cards

I have not been able to update my blog as often as I would like recently as I got a large eye infection which turned into several ulcers that left me with very bad and blurry vision. For nearly 3 weeks I was unable to watch tv, use a computer or really do anything in the daytime. Thankfully with the help and support of the doctors and nurses at the Royal London Hospital my eyesight is finally getting better and I can start using my computer again and watch TV without having to watch through very dark sunglasses.

My eyes are still not 100% and I have been told it will probably take a few more weeks of treatment before my sight is back to normal and then they can check to see if any permant damage has been done.

But now onto better news, on Wednesday I got an email from Chessington World of Adventures, I had entered their Animal Snaps photo competition in April and was told that I was one of the runner ups and had won a pair of tickets to the park.

you can see my entry and the others at http://www.chessington.com/chessington_zoo/animal_snaps/animal_snaps.asp?css=2

Secondly Photobox, the company I get my photos printed by are now also doing designer greetings cards where you can upload your own photos to be turned into cards.

The great thing is that anyone on the web can view the cards and purchase them but they can also personalise the cards to suit.

You can see my card designs by clicking the link below, or on the direct link in the list on the right.
