Snow !

The first post of 2009… The new year started better for me then the end of 2008 as my mother was rushed to hospital on Christmas Eve, and finally came home on New Years Eve. She is still recovering from the confirmed mini stroke but getting better everyday.

Today I woke up to below freezing temperatures and snow ! I dont mind snow but one of my main problems is that I live in a Cul de Sac and the only way out of the street is to drive up a rather steep hill, which when its covered in snow and ice is pretty much impossible.

At 6:30am I took my dog for his morning walk where I had to take a few photos of him in the snow, its quite funny to see my old dog turn into a pup again as soon as he see snow. A few cars tried to get up the hill and failed after only a few yards, and after several attempts finally gave up.

Hopefully the snow will soon melt as I have a MRI scan on my knees this afternoon.
